The CEDAR DNS 2 wins the Cinema Audio Society Award for the Outstanding Product for Production in 2017
21 February 2017
CEDAR Audio is delighted to announce that the CEDAR DNS 2 dialogue noise suppressor has been honoured by the Cinema Audio Society as the Outstanding Product for Production in 2017. CEDAR’s Managing Director, Gordon Reid says, “We are very proud that a CEDAR product has again won a CAS Award. Somebody once told me that winning one award can be a happy accident, but winning a second shows that you’ve really arrived. We designed the DNS 2 after many discussions with members of the CAS and their counterparts elsewhere who needed a processor of this type, so you can imagine how happy we are when they tell us that we got it right. And nothing tells us more than this award. We would very much like to thank the CAS ‘Blue Ribbon’ nominating committee and everyone who voted for the DNS 2.”
The 53rd CAS Awards were presented on Saturday, 18 February in the Bunker Hill Ballroom of the OMNI Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza, and the award for the DNS 2 was received on behalf of CEDAR Audio by Glen Trew, CEO of Trew Audio. See https://vimeo.com/204948899.
