CEDAR Audio is proud to sponsor the 50th Annual Conference of the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA) and the 2019 Joint Technical Symposium (JTS) of audiovisual archives and archivists. We will be attending both the conference and the symposium to demonstrate the latest CEDAR Cambridge system and to discuss the company’s recent developments for archives and libraries. Many features within CEDAR Cambridge were designed following extensive discussions with the National Library of Australia and the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra, and delegates are invited to view the system throughout the events.
The IASA Conference will be held at the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum from Monday 30th September – Thursday 3rd October, and the JTS will be held in the same location from Thursday 3rd – Saturday 5th October.
IASA is concerned with the care, access and long-term preservation of the world’s sound and moving image heritage. Through its active worldwide membership and training initiatives, it supports and advocates the development of best professional standards and practice amongst organisations and individuals that share these purposes. The JTS provides further opportunities for archivists from different backgrounds to come together and share new technical advances.
CEDAR Audio will be supporting both events as an IASA/JTS 2019 Exhibitor Sponsor.
