Doug Romanow is a record producer at Noble Street Studios in Toronto. He is also the music director for the Canadian Country Music Awards and a songwriter with the Bluewater Music Group in Nashville.
Engineering credits include tracks recorded by Justin Bieber, Johnny Reid, Chantal Kreviazuk, Divine Brown and Tyga, and among those he has produced tracks for are Kinnie Starr, Lily Frost, Stegall, Nightmare Air, Theatre of Hate and Alessia Cohl. Earlier projects include two-time Juno nominee Michael Pickett, reggae award-winning group The Sattalites, bluesman Danny Brooks, and Ann Vriend.
Douglas regularly participates as a panelist at music conferences, including Canadian Music Week, Western Canadian Music Awards and Canadian Country Music Week.
He has presented an interactive workshop at several events headlined Behind the Glass, An Insider’s Look at Record Production.
He is known for his musicality, clear and amiable leadership style, strong communication skills and dry sense of humour. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two daughters.
