“Universal Audio – Mixing in The Box” with award winning producer, engineer, and mixer Michael Phillip Wojewoda (Barenaked Ladies, Jeff Healey, Luke Doucet, Sloan, Great Big Sea, KD Lang). Michael’s most recent work with Buffy Sainte-Marie in 2015 garnered the Polaris Prize and 2 Junos. Listen and learn as Michael “builds” his mix “in the box” using Universal Audio’s Apollo Twin and the award winning UAD-2 Plugin platform.
Anatomy of a Mix
“Anatomy of a Mix – with guest mixer, Ian Bodzasi. Ian is a prolific producer engineer and credits include mixes for Nelly Furtado, Sum 41, Sam Roberts, Ronnie Hawkins, Randy Bachman & Burton Cummings, Hedley, Treble Charger, The Tea Party, Cowboy Junkies, Kim Mitchell and Platinum Blonde. At this event Ian will re-construct one of his mixes from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to watch a professional build up a mix, track by track and explain how it was assembled.
